Ecsite - The European Network for Science Centres & Museums is an international organisation of science centers and museums with more than 380 members. Their common aim is to foster the popular communication of science by means of interactive exhibitions and programmes. The network works to define international standards for science centers, shares experiences in the field of science communication and presents successful projects and approaches. Members meet annually at the Ecsite Conference in different places all over Europe.

In 2010 the conference is hosted by DASA. Ecsite and DASA expect more than 800 delegates from 50 countries. The programme consists of approximately 300 talks accompanied by a wide range of social events. Conference language is English.
