Healing and Caring

Health in the health service

Sooner or later we will all be in need of their helping hands. They carry out services in hospitals, old peoples' and nursing homes, to care for others. But what is the state of health of the people working in the health service?

rehabilitation

In the nursing profession, idealism, compassion and charity are typical social qualities. Personal attention, a friendly word or a kind look are essential to the patient. But also to the nursing staff. The daily confrontation with illness, dying and death is creates an enormous mental strain. Nurses therefore need some encouragement to avoid the development of stress.

radiology

The apartments which are the living quarters of the elderly and sick, are at the same time the work places of the nurses and carers. With the assistance of technology, which can be seen and of course tested at the DASA, some of the physical and mental strain suffered by the nurses can be alleviated and some routine jobs made easier and quicker. This benefits everyone, both nursing staff and patients alike.

occupational doctor

The occupational doctor helps to promote health awareness. At the DASA she will put you through a lung function test, an ECG, an eye test and much more. You will learn about X-ray processes, laboratory work and simulated operations, even from a wheelchair. Medical technology makes many things possible, makes work easier. It helps, but can never replace people. It can however, allow people to enter previously closed areas. Technology is a tool to help him make better use of his potential - to the benefit of all the patients.
