Traditional factory work in the textile industry...

In the textile industry, the clock reigns supremely. Everything is determined by the time clock and is full of dust and discipline. The DASA textile factory represents an era defined by the cycle of the machine. The relentless machines are driven by steam, workers’ hand movements are strictly dictated and speed always comes first. Fantastic products, like fabrics, are made in no time at all. In this part of the exhibition, we will show you the reality behind the gleaming warp and weft threads.
