Occupational safety

DASA is a part of something very special – it's the only exhibition space in Germany interlinked to a departmental research institution like the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

One of the key functions of the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) is to build a bridge between the generation and application of knowledge.

In this respect, the preparation, provision and communication of findings, information and practical help relating to occupational health and safety is of key importance. Last but not least, the BAuA also has a legal mandate to support companies in fulfilling the requirements that arise from the EC Regulation for the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH). A central element of this is the online portal www.reach-clp-biozidhelpdesk.de. This is also accompanied by the "REACH-Info" series of publications and additional information materials. Training courses are also offered, and individual companies can get advice on legal issues upon request.
