DASA takes the protection of your personal data very seriously.
We would like to inform you about when we collect what data and how we use such data.
We have taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are complied with by both us and our external service providers.
In order to improve our service for you, we make continuous efforts to develop our website and implement new technologies. As a result, amendments may have to be made to this privacy policy. We therefore recommend that you re-read it from time to time.
Accessing the internet offering of DASA
Every time you access this website, data about this process is automatically stored in a log file. Such data is processed for statistical purposes and in anonymised form only, this means that they cannot be traced back to you personally. A comparison with other existing data or a disclosure to third parties, even of just extracts of the data, does not take place.
The following data in particular is stored on our own servers in Germany for a period of 3 months and is then deleted automatically:

It is your choice to decide whether or not you want to disclose this data to us. We will store your information on highly-secure servers in Germany. Only specially authorised personnel in charge of the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the servers are granted access to this data.
Your rights
You have the right to information, free of charge and at any time, on the personal data concerning you that is stored and processed by us, on its origin and on its recipients, and on the purpose for which it is processed.
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
You also have the right to rectification free of any charge, to the restriction of processing and to the erasure of your personal data.
Your individual situation may also justify an objection to the processing of your personal data, an additional right of yours.
Should you have provided us with specific consent to the processing of your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time. An objection shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data up until the time of the objection.
Should you believe that we are not processing your data in accordance with the applicable data protection provisions, you have the right to contact the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) at Husarenstraße 30, 53117 Bonn.

Newsletter
We send out our newsletter using "Newsletter2Go". The provider is Newsletter2GO GmbH, Nürnberger Straße 8, 10787 Berlin, which is certified by TÜV-Rheinland as a "Dienstleister mit geprüftem Datenschutzmanagement" ["Service provider with a certified privacy management system"]. The personal data you provide in the newsletter registration form is transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH and saved on the servers of Newsletter2Go GmbH in Germany.
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of the data provided in the newsletter registration form at any time, either by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by writing to us at the e-mail address stated below.
We shall not disclose data that is saved following access to the DASA website to third parties unless we are required to do so by law or by a court order, or if disclosure is necessary for the purposes of investigation or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on our internet infrastructure. Data shall not be disclosed for any other non-commercial purposes or for commercial ends.
Matomo website statistics (evaluation of user behaviour)
Our website uses Matomo (www.matomo.org), an open-source software, for the analysis of visitor access to this website. Matomo collects data via JavaScript or image embedding and uses cookies for this process, which are then stored on your computer and allow for an analysis of your use of this website. The information about the use of this website that is generated by the cookies is stored on our own server in Germany and is not disclosed to third parties. The IP address of each visitor is anonymised immediately after processing and before this information is saved.
In relation to this, you may also prevent the installation of the cookies by selecting the corresponding settings in your browser. We do, however, point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent if you do so. You may also prevent your data from being used by Matomo by utilising the opt-out function below. By activating this option, a cookie is stored on your browser that only contains the information that no data relating you may be collected by Matomo. Protection of minors
